Definitely check the chain guides and I'd replace the upper timing chain guide. It is attached to the valve cover, starts out life as a pliable piece of rubber like material, ends life as a hard piece of plastic. Mine was hard and somewhat brittle at 126K miles. New guide is fairly cheap, and in my case, quieted the engine rattle a noticeable amount.
