One of the greatest things about driving 4 of these 9-5 is

I almost always have one set of really intact wheels with nice tires I can install on the 9-5 I am diagnosing and what I think I am realizing more over time is:

When I thought an issue was the brake rotors, it was sometimes at least partially worn hubs;

And when I thought the wheel bearings were "it", turned out the tires were cupped.

I'd replace the rotors and get little increase in quality. I replace the hubs (bearings) and the braking was much smoother with no judder. I test a different set of wheels and tires on the vehicle, really nice ones, and the noise went away. Not in an absolute sense, just a surprising trend in that direction.
