The rear should be affected much less by just the shocks, because your rear trailing arms and the cross stay control arm determine most of the geometry - but the shock mounts will probably be in slightly different positions than when removed. So I would still do a four wheel alignment, at least before driving it very far.
You can sometimes get really close by making Sharpie marks around all the bolts and mounts and matching them on reassembly. Years ago I went in for an alignment after replacing shocks, main rear trailing arm bushings, and 'Rose' bushes. The alignment tech commented he was amazed at how close I got - but that was beginner's luck.
I am confronting something similar to your dilemma with my '99 SE at 230K miles. Its first engine died of sludge before I bought it, so the engine is nearing 300K. The front end needs attention, and then it will need to be aligned, but it is not my daily driver, and I am not sure how much to invest.
Hope this gives some perspective.
