My indy did a drain/fill last year with OEM oil I provided. Driving around this morning was all on flat ground and the whine was still present. I just changed the oil the other day and didn't notice any signs of a leak anywhere.
I'm not sure when the noise started- I've been distracted by the brake and suspension noises which will hopefully all go away next week with new parts installed. Friday was the first day the noise was impossible to not hear, but I believe it was present before that for at least a few days.
I will check tomorrow to see if I can access/loosen the level plug in my garage. There is no dipstick unfortunately.
