I went to replace the upper transmission mount on the wife's 04 arc wagon 5 spd (230K miles) and I ran into a snag. I ordered a replacement part from Eeuroparts and it's the standard square unit that you see everywhere. When I got my car all squared away I had an additional nut attaching the mount to a manual swaybar of some kind. If I replace this part and omit the connection am I missing anything or do I have to go out and try and find a mount with this piece that connects the swaybar to the mount?
Any suggestions on how to handle this?
