If Orio is not profitable, they will disappear.
I'm guilty of hunting down low priced good parts whenever I can... and of not paying too much buying cars either... but I suppose the person who buys the used car supports the sale of a new car, assuming they buy another saab (which of course is now impossible)... I just can't see the point in spending that much on depreciation regardless of the brand! I suppose others can't bear to have a car need repairs...
I do try to avoid cheap knockoff Chinese parts as much as possible because they will not serve me well, and supporting those manufacturers at the expense of the OEM suppliers only makes things worse.
In some cases though, non-oem parts are superior...
I tend to buy a lot of my stuff from eeuro, so I'm really happy to see they are offering this warranty as well, though I wonder now whether it is better eg to buy SAAB branded sway bar links that fail annually and get them replaced under warranty, or just keep buying moogs which seem to last quite a bit longer... I think I will err on the side of saving me time, but I wonder how much this is a ploy recognizing that many cars will not be on the road so long as to really use the warranty anyway for parts that fall within a standard deviation of the reliability curve...
