Front and back rotor questions for multiple 9-5s

I have 3 9-5 wagons, a 2005 Arc, 2005 Aero, and 2004 Aero. They all need new rotors. On the rear of the 2004 is a vented 300mm rotor and on the 2005s a solid 286mm rotor. There is plenty of space for the 300 vented rotor, though I doubt the calipers would line up, though have not really checked. Has anyone tried this, and would it work or matter?
My Arc has the smaller 288mm front rotor, though it was my understanding that it is supposed to be the 308mm, same as the Aeros. I suppose it is possible that the Previous Owner had the wrong size put on, but I would really like to have the larger diameter to stop faster. Again, I have not measured things to see if the caliper would work with the 308.
It is really cold now and I've got some recouping to do from surgery, so have some time before I need to do this. My 21yo may be doing the work anyway! Would appreciate some feedback from some of you experienced guys out there!
Thanks.
