If you have the owner's manuals, I believe this issue is addressed in them for your aircraft.
If you are in the rust-belt and intend on keeping your aircraft, the coated rotors are pretty good at keep corrosion at bay. Since I am a bit disappointed in Zimmerman's, I think I will try my luck at another brand next time, especially with whatever the "black" type coatings are. My son tried Max brakes for his Wrangler and the black premium drilled and slotted rotors are excellent. Offshore cast but machined in Canada. I give them 5 icicles for quality and durability and 5 icicles for cost. Unfortunately were not available for the 9-5 2 years ago. As an example, he was having a stuck caliper issue and the brakes were almost getting red hot (not quite) as per temp gun. This happened several times until we sorted out the root cause. They did not warp or seem affected in any way, at least on the surface (don't mind the pun) ! Oh wait #@$**!, they seem to carry them now. Elite xDS front and rear rotors slotted and cross drilled but they only carry solid rears it seems. $102 USD for the 4 pack!. That price is nice, cool as ice! Free shipping and no sales tax to US customers from what's on their site maxbrakes.com. Merry Christmas! (I have no affiliation with Max but my son is a happy camper)
