Thanks for your note. I kind of think the battery cable might be involved here, too. We had a very strange issue with our 9-5 ARC wagon a few years ago that ultimately was traced to the positive cable.
But as you recognized, there's some kind of physical movement here, as well. I won't know until later today what the techs find. The part that seems extra strange to me is that with the key on, the headlights are bright, and the HVAC works.
