Pulled out my old DIC, and it has a massive crack in it, and spark plug #1 had oil pooled around it...
But drove it around and it seemed to like the new DIC for now. We'll see how long it lasts.
And no, I wouldn't pay $1500 for a cat, I would toss in one for $150. (I've had to do that for a few cars) Just something to pass emissions OR I would put in a nice new exhaust. My first 9-5 I got a sweet exhaust from elk parts.. I know the don't exist anymore. I wish I knew what the exhaust system was, I wouldn't mind having it again.
I bet it lasts 6 months, starts throwing codes. We'll see I'll post videos on my youtube channel.
