Re: Advice on new windshield - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I've heard very few good things about Safelite. I had the windshield replaced on my wife's 2000 9-5 at a local glass shop. They gave me the option of a no-name Chinese one or a Pilkington windshield for not much more. I have no complaints about the Pilkington glass, especially since they were the OEM for some of the glass on my NG900. It's identical in every way to the original. I'll be using them again when I get my 2001 9-5 on the road because it has some large cracks in its windshield.
