Spoke to the mechanic again and he now refuses to put in a new radiator. He feels the car is at end of life and I reluctantly agree. Theres lots to do and the body is in rough shape. Ive even had a few comments on how rusty it is. I feel the engine is no longer reliable enough to get me more than a few blocks. Sure I could sink money into it but to what end? I'm not a mechanic, nor a body shop. I can get a few hundred dollars in scrap value. Its a shame but inevitable. So one more 9-5 leaves the road. I will probably look for another 9-5 in better shape with less mileage and put my money there.
Going to pull a few part and keep the BBS RK II wheels. I will miss the comfy seats. That leather held up great !
