Tips needed:Tighten Banjo Bolts at radiator? Posted by Larry West [Email] (#1140) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Larry West) on Tue, 22 May 2018 10:55:16 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
You know the ones. The ones that bring Transmission fluid to the radiator and back to the Aisin transmission.
My 2002 Aero marks its territory red. I've been topping up with the closest I can get to 3309, but I must fix the issue (and re-fill with official stuff).
I did manage to tighten the top one, but my big arms & hands seem to prevent me from accessing the lower one, even after removing the turbo bypass line.
I suppose I can get to it by removing the fans, but it all seems to tight there, and I can't get a reliable hold on the bracket that holds the lines to the fan shroud.
I do have new seals, should I be able to get to them...
Any tips?
