I have an idea Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery] (more from adl6009) on Mon, 4 Jun 2018 07:14:23 In Reply to: I don't want ACC, I just want ice cold air, left side, Boris Bubbanov, Mon, 4 Jun 2018 06:40:59 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
But I don't know if it will work. My 2002 blows hot on the drivers side because the the thing that controls the air broke off at the shaft so I have to replace the whole unit to repair. The thing is the ac blows cold air into the back seat. There is an air shaft that runs through the console to the back vents. There is also a connector IIRC near the dashboard for that air shaft. My idea is to remove the console and separate the front and back halves of the air shaft. Maybe at that point the air could be re-routed to the drivers side. Maybe leave the console out, maybe route the air though the little pocket in the console? As far as the heat through the left vents I just shut off the vents.
