Never had an issue with the old 9-5 fan or AC in the 2004 - so I took the blower motor out of it to rest in the 2008 9-5 I am making a daily driver...
Fan has blown weak since I was acquired it - about mid low setting at first then down to a trickle as it warms up - regardless of how low I set the temps, even manually choosing Max, full air fan, face settings.
The cabin filter was old and has some leaves, changing made no difference -
Same with motor, has 100k - spun up fine with air, blew out and checked brushes, are good - swapped with motor from old 9-5 that blew good, after install in New 9-5 same, 15% airflow...
The regulator made no sense since it is not an on/off problem (works on any setting, just a fraction of real speed) but if it is not bad the only thing left is the GM sourced controller in dash -
Can you repair these or swap with another unit?
I thought I read the old Saab climate control were married to the car, but are the GM units for 06-09? Also anything I've missed is helpful
