I don't want to thrown you in a wrong direction, but it's a simple one to pursue: some people here (myself included) have found that a faulty brake-pedal switch can produce the Xmas-tree ABC lights. I took mine apart, cleaned the contact, and have had good fortune since.
Much earlier, I did have my ABS module repaired, and Xemodex did what seems to have been a great job on a module that BBA had returned to me marked "unrepairable."
