2002 9-5 Automatic Transmission issue. - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
My car may have always been this way? I was at a friends house and their driveway runs very steep downhill. When I went to leave, I tried to back up the driveway and the Transmission seemed to slip really bad. There wasn't a good place to turn around to go forward. Anyway, reverse revved to like 2500 or so to crawl up their driveway. All of the forward gears seems to be OK. Does anyone know what is different with the reverse gear and does it share clutches/bands with any of the forward gears?
Thanks in advance!
