This is kind of long but would appreciate comments.
Due to some coolant leaking from the famous bypass valve I decided to finally get rid of it completely. I had the hoses on hand to do it from
Sore back right now so decided to get Indy to do it.
Had a thermostat and coolant temp sensor planned so I thought, hey, do it all at once.
Just got it back this afternoon. Leak fixed. All in place.
But ACC is way down in effect. (It's of course hot here in SoCal.)
I am running it at LOW to get any kind of coolness.
I ran the ACC recalibrate to see what happened and I got a code 18.
It turns out they took the solenoid OUT.
Is that necessary? Recommended?
I had not read anything on the solenoid being taken out.
Think I am back there tomorrow getting the solenoid put back in system.
