Removing Oil Separator '05 9-5
Posted by Bill N [Email] (more from Bill N) on Fri, 6 Jul 2018 16:25:42
'05 9-5, 4 cylinder.
The fitting on one of the crankcase vent hoses broke so I got the new carankcase vent kit, figuring I would replace it and whatever else was needed. However, the new hose has a different fitting where it connects to the oil separator than the old damaged hose. Hence, it looks like I need to replace the oil separator.
Anyone have detailed instructions on how to get the oil separator out? I've got it loose from the block but it's not clear how to get clearance to remove it and put the new one in.
