So far as I can tell, the new hose won't fit on the old oil trap. Hence the need to replace the old oil trap with the new one.
The hose in question is the one that fits into the back of the valve cover and attaches to the far right nipple on the oil trap. In the old version the hose just slid over the nipple on the oil trap; the new version has one of the "quick disconnect" connectors and the nipple is slightly smaller diameter.
If the WIS has instructions for removing the oil trap, please post them.
