I bought a Milwaukee corded electric impact on a great sale 5 years ago or so. It gets a lot of use!
I did discover the Harbor Freight socket assortment was lacking when I needed to replace the rear struts on my son's GrandAm. I bought an impact socket set from O'Reilys because both the Harbor Freight and Auto Zone assortments were missing the 19mm(?) socket his car required. Or maybe it was 13mm? Seemed to me it was a common size, and very odd that neither of the other two sets included it.
