initial set up of the rear suspension after a full refresh using shims is easy and inexpensive. no question, this makes sense. So on the face of it, compared to shims, these seem a bit crazy (a few dollars vs a few hundred dollars).
But I think the advantage of these is that the alignment can be adjusted down the road as the components wear. I'd say that the rear suspension of these cars is very sensitive to wear and it is nice to be able to adjust it simply at anytime.
I'm collecting parts for the suspension refresh of my Wagon and have yet to decide if I will go with these adjustable cross stays or not.
