Upper waste gate bolt

Hey all I've just installed GenuineSaab.c o m's turbo exhaust manifold. They advised it gives a 15-30 hp boost but I sure didn't feel it. Fixing my busted exhaust manifold studs I figured might as well do a stage one exhaust upgrade. The custom exhaust manifold is just slightly smaller at the base where turbo unit meets the manifold which lifts the turbo unit 1/4th of an inch. The 1/4th lift doesn't seem much but it also lifts the upper waste gate bolt 1/4th of an inch. With this lift the metal air pipe can not be installed with the upper waste gate bolt installed. Removing the bolt gets the metal pipe installed but with the new lift the metal pipe now sits 1/2 inch at the top of the pipe closer to the radiator fans meaning it's unable to be bolted in by the top bolt which isn't a big deal. The metal vacuum pipe needs to be rebent to fit the banjo bolt at the top of the metal turbo intake hose which Had no problem doing. My only concern is I'm unable to reinstall the upper waste gate bolt I figure the lower waste gate bolt will do the job in holding the waste gate in place but many Saab minds are better than one. If I find a smaller length bolt I could get the upper waste gate bolt installed while the metal pipe is installed but it would be a major pain I'm thinking it'll be fine without the bolt. Searching for thoughts on the matter.
