well, the last 2 posts reminded me of something that i use in my boat ,in the engine and also on the outside of it ....it is used to flush and eliminate salt from internal engine parts ...i also use it outside and works wonders ...it is called SALT AWAY ....you get it with a dispenser that you fill up and and then you attach it to a water hose and spray it away or in the case of a boat you flush it into the system ,etc.you can regulate the amount of "salt away" you need to use thru a regulating valve on the dispenser that mixes with the water .......the other item that you can do is after a bad day of snow just put the car thru a car wash and make sure that they clean it underneath..this is what i have done here and when in connecticut when i know salt or other has been used on a snowy day
