I don't think I busted any clips replacing a poorly repainted bumper with an original paint matched unit from the UPULL. If the car has lived in the rust belt and it's a keeper, you may want to do what I did and wire brush the rust off front steel crumple zone bumper beam and refinish it. I just used a high zinc primer to cold galvanize. Should be good for the life of the car. At least the 2002+ have a nice wide and heavy beam that surely improved front and front offset crash tests. Hats off to the project teams that worked on the front bumpers, lights, grille and front crumple zone. They did a great job that has stood the test of time and is easy to assemble and disassemble with a little bit of knowledge and experience. If you watch the production video, the front bumper takes just a very short cycle of time to install. Production floor friendly I say I say.
