Thank you for the reply. The positive cable was replaced when the alternator was replaced about 2.5 years ago.
I can probably get under there to check it, though!
Is it possible it's still the ignition switch that is faulty even with the voltage being correct at the fuse?
I'm thinking this is the end of the line for me and I will need to take the car in.
Any other thoughts are welcome!
