ABS half-harness swap ? Module connector issue ? You want to isolate whether it is ABS or a sensor or wire harness. Did you complete your rebuild of the under-carpet wires for the rear sensors? If they were still hanging open, I would swap the leads, clear the codes, and see which side re-errors. You might have to move the car a few feet and rotate wheels ?
I know that this sounds Rube-Goldberg, but the leads into the ABS controller would be unchanged, and this swap would switch the rear halves of the harness plus the sensors. If the symptom stays with the RR sensor, then it's ABS controller or the more limited "front half" of the harness.
Have you uninstalled / reinstalled the ABS controller more than once in this quest ? Could it be a broken, bent, or corroded connector pin or a loose female connector terminal ?
