Different D1S bulbs
Posted by Saabing_Guy [Email] (more from Saabing_Guy) on Mon, 11 Mar 2019 13:51:57
I have a 07 with the xenon bulbs. One has just about died, it comes on sometimes but most of the time it does not. The other, I'm noticing is started to flicker just a little sometime so I'm guessing that one is on the way out too.
I found some all in one D1S bulbs on the web. The ballast and the bulb one complete housing, which is not any bigger than the stock bulbs in the car now. My question is this, has anyone else ever tried/seen these bulbs before? Would they be worth a try or should I run away and just get the normal Osrams? I ask because I kinda would like to try them, but I have also read the stories of how anything other than the Osrams or Phillips bulbs die very quickly.
Thanks a bunch.
