Just a few more notes on the symptoms.
The shifter indicator on the dash is ALWAYS on 3. Even if in reverse / neutral / park.
To answer a few of the questions so far. This car was sitting for about a year due to moving / etc. Understood that it is good to start from time to time, but had to troubleshoot engine running issues and was unable to, etc.
The Throttle body / engine is running fine and strong.
I am looking for my better decoder, the low end one is indating a fault, but can not read it. I assume it is a tranny code. More on this when I get a chance to read it.
Also again, it ran about 100 miles fine the day I got it going. The next morning is when iit went into Tranny Limp Mode.
Clearing the codes does clear the indicators on the dash, but when going forward they come back on after a bit.
