patient is a '99 95 base model with 210k mi. Im doing front struts and the rest of the front end suspension components.
I have in hand a URO strut mount and bearing. its brand new, and feels cheap.
the genuine SAAB mount and bearing, which I assume are now 20 yrs old with 200k on them, feel beefier, and the bearing feels like new. Better than the brand new URO.
so what would you do? Put in the new? or the old?
ditto the bellows, the original is a nice high quality rubber that is really as good as new. the new URO is cheap plastic that will surely crack in 5 years.
