Green roller tip - for glass out of track 1 Saabers Like This Post! Posted by Snowmobile [Email] (#686) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Snowmobile) on Sun, 28 Jul 2019 11:17:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Green rollers again. The Eeuroparts youtube video is a good resource if you are doing this for the first time. See link below.
This time, the glass fell out of the front weatherstripping/guide track (drivers side front side window). I could not get it to go back into the track (partly because it is almost impossible to see/feel the track)... the trick I found was to remove the speaker (so you can see what is going on), and loosen the bolt holding the track (bolt is located just in front of the speaker). I loosened that most of the way, pushed it in. The glass should tip down in front, up in back (like the WIS instructions for window removal)... Then you should be able to fit the glass into the track. Then reinstall the green rollers (2 clicks - first by hand, second needs pliers, I usually do that one with the window halfway up). Reassembly is simply the reverse of removal.
Just thought I would post this in case someone else had the same issue.
