9-5 Aero Auto

I've found the 9-5 Aero Auto slower on the motorway (freeway) than my previous 9K Aero (See posting in Performance) due to, I reckon too high gearing in 3rd and 4th (30 mph/1000 in 4th).
Anybody else feel the same?
Any news of a 5 speed auto box like everyone else has? I didn't believe with this engine you'd need it. Never missed a 5 speed with the 9K
