best of both world car. The auto allows the Aero to really strut it's stuff in traffic and doesn't stress the driver- just punch it and it goes The auto shifts up and down are well timed and immediate torque is at hand instantly (at lower gas mileage). The addition of Koni adjustable shocks does help the car's disposition and takes out some of the harshness in the ride. Some like that stiffness but it gave my wife a constant headache. Konis solved that and didn't seem to adversely affect the handling all that much. 230 hp is plenty, the slightly reduced torque isn't really noticed all that much with the automatic in my opinion. The five speed in the "extra energy" mode is truly breathtaking but really how often does one "need" that much performance in a five passenger family sedan?
