facts:
9000 w/hatch will carry more
9000 is hundreds of pounds lighter
9000 resists oversteer greater than 9-5 (see 2Slow's posts on this)
B234R engine is better than B235R
T5 trionic is easier to tune/reprogram
a used saab has much more value than a new saab - if value is
considered as a ratio between price and amount of use-value, in
miles. For example, a new aero is what, $40k? Suppose saabs,
in general, have been using ingredients that make the average
saab last about 250k miles - I bet there are a few 9000's w/over
this. That means a new aero has a value ratio 250/40, or a little
over 6 miles/dollar. Whereas, a '97 aero could be had for less
than a quarter, say $10k w/70k miles - a quotient of 180/10 or
18 miles/dollar - a new 9-5 would have to be a lot nicer to sit
in than a '97 aero to convince me!
