Hello all,

Our family just ordered the above mentioned vehicle, and now we are stuck in that tedious period of limbo-- waiting for the &^%@#$^ delivery date. Until that day arrives, all sorts of minute and perhaps pointless questions enter my mind...

Number One:
Can anyone tell me anything about this engine, other than what the brochure says, and the occasional poster that states it isn't a "true" saab engine? Who else uses it? how old is the design, etc.

Number Two:
I think I remember reading on the window sticker that the automatic transmission for this car is made in Japan. By who? Have these been better than the notorious Z-F or other '80s-'90s transmissions?

Number Three (and final):
Is there a new wheel for the 9-5SE for 2001? If so, can anyone link me to a picture of one? That new 9-3 wheel is pretty wild! I dunno if that particular one would work aesthetically with the 9-5, though.

Number Four (oh well, I lied):
Will saab continue with the current iteration of Michelin tire as standard equipment for this car? I believe that would make it the MXV4-plus.
