I thought about installing a remote start in my '02 Aero w/ manual shift. However, Saab requires the car to be in reverse in order to remove the key. It then can't be shifted once the key is removed. It therefore can't be configured with a remote start! I suppose an engine/passenger compartment heater would be the preferred solution, but the cost is considerably more.
