..I'll take an engine with a timing chain over a belt, anyday. My 9000s' engine, which has the original DI, has gone 30k miles with 270 hp, and the last 10k miles with over 300 hp. It doesn't burn a drop of oil (Mobil 1 15W-50) and the only thing that has been changed is the pressure plate - the stock one wasn't quite strong enough for 270 hp. The total mileage on this engine is only 55k, but I'd be really disappointed if I don't get, at least, 200k out of it.
I've been told the stock pistons on the B234, I'm not sure about the B235, are good for up to 350 hp.
