I used Gislaveds on my '93 900S for several winters until I wore them out. I loved them on snow. I grew up in VT so I appreciate a good snow tire, but drove them mostly in DC where snow and ice are occasional and fleeting. They performed very well in a 10-inch snowstorm across MA and Boston, however, and at other times in New England during the winter. I also thought they were great on wet roads, which led to me keeping them on much longer than snow could be reasonably expected.
