sometimes the metal blade arm can get bent. a new blade (metal and rubber)is 5-15 dollars .. seeing that they should be replaced each 6 months, the 6 dollar ANCO blades work perfectly fine for me. and they take the better part of 15 seconds to replace. its a lot easier to replace the entire blade instead of just the refill, and then you know the metal arm will not be bent. 12 bucks a couple times a year (or longer if u have good weather) isnt too shabby.
61 bucks to replace wipers?!? i need to get into the wiper replacment business... i could replace them for 20 bucks each, about 1 set a minute..
60sets/hour = 1200/hr * 8 hrs = 9600/day * 7days/week = $67,200/week 50 working weeks.. hmmmm... $3,360,000 dollars a year for replacing wipers.....id just need 168,000 customers
