Aero vs. Viggen

My wife just found out she's getting a company car, and she gets to choose which one. That means the new Viggen we had just gotten for her will be replacing my C900. Poor me. Anyway, she loves her Viggen and would get another, but we don't think we want two of the same car. We've driven several other makes (C-class, 330i, A4, C60), but can't find the same value that we can get with a Saab. More importantly, none of these cars has the same sport/utility/luxury balance that we like. The Volvo C60 is close, a very nice car, but no subsidised lease puts it out of range, and the dealer won't budge on the price. The BMW is just too expensive for what you get, and the build quality isn't as good as Saab's. We hate SUV's, and I can't get her interested in convertibles, wagons, or a TT. That leaves us with another Viggen or a 9-5.
So, our Saab dealer has a 2000 Aero that's been sitting on their lot for a while, and the salesman says he'll give us the same deal as with the Viggen (one of those end of year Viggen deals). So I'd like to know this board's impressions of the Aero compared to the 4-door Viggen. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Also, Edmund's is listing a lease deal on an '01 Aero for $447, $1000 down. I'm not that familiar with the 9-5, so what has changed for this year, other than OnStar and steel grey?
