I pressed Mobil today on for the ACEA rating for their Mobil1 10W30 not accepting that the product meets "all specifications". Turns out that everything else in the Mobil1 product range except 10W30 meets ACEA-A3. In the end they strongly suggested that if I need ACEA-A3 I run their 15W50, even in the winter.

They were unable to tell me when their Mobil1 10W30 would meet ACEA-A3 (currently Mobil's datasheet shows ACEA-A1).

So does anyone have an opinion on Royal Purple?
