Got 65,000 km on my 08 5.3 and only problem I had is with the rear diffential (see other posts on this board) - fixed under warranty. And my cup holder is broken. Still running original tires.

I don't believe there are any horror stories?

I doubt it is any more expensive to repair than its GM sisters. But I have yet to find out.
