Turn Signal Problem

I have a 1987 900 Turbo converible. My right rear turn signal light will not work. Both right signal lights on the front work but flash at twice the frequency as the left turn signals, all of which function correctly. I heard that the rapid flashing indicates that a bulb is bad but I have replaced all the bulbs and the problem remains. I recently had to re-ground the rear lights as they did not operate when the brake pedal was pushed (classic Saab grounding problem). I have not checked the grounds in front but could that affect the rear right turn signal? Is it possible that the problem is in the pastic bulb holder rack? The other lights on the right side rear all work OK, it is only the turn signal bulb that is inoperative. There is also some corrosion on the left bulb holder but I do not see how that could affect the right rear signal. I am not sure how to procede and what to check next. Replacing the bulb holders is expensive, $50 each if you can get them, and I hate to start guessing. Any suggestions on what to try next. Thanks.
