"Inspired" by Simca body, audi transmission and bmw engine design. Have a look at the link below. You might need to use google.translate service to get it into english.

C1 prototype of 2141 had a design similar to saab 99. Here's a photo (x-ray pic could be more helpful but I can't find it anywhere here; ouch, found another sketch of this car: http://www.realretro.ru/images/mc1k.jpg).
