If you have an '89, then it does not have a cut-off switch, which was fitted to LH2.2-equipped Turbos through model year '88. The cut-off function was coded into the LH2.4 ECUs from MY89 on. (Don't confuse date of manufacture, which is on the door jamb sticker, with model year, which is on the big colored sticker on the LH wheel well, under the hood (this sticker also shows the vacuum hose routing).
