Go for it man. I just bought a 1980 900 turbo in October with only 88k miles!!! Yeah it has some quirks, but it has a fully rebuilt engine and turbo, solid original tranny, and nearly perfect suspension. Soooooo much fun!!!! I just finished redoing the whole interior - seats (original 1980 blues shipped from a guy in Australia), repaired upper dash, custom headliner, original 2-knob radio, and a bunch of other stuff. Just needs paint now and she's going to be the coolest 900 I've ever seen!!!! I had a friend stop by today and there were 3 talle red 900 SPGs in my driveway - all running beautifully - and they still were not as cool as this '80 is going to be when finished. Plus as much as it totally SUCKS to do some of the work on these c900s, it's totally worth it once it's all done and you can drive it. Go all the way man!! Then post tons of pics to encourage us slackers!!!
