I've yet to see any fully restored cars-they're still too new and still worth too little to make it work. Most of the creampuffs I've seen have been newer cars. But you never know what might crop up. A "rolling" restoration might make more sense--sort of do things as needed, one project every year or two and drive it in the mean time. As for a true "frame off" restoration, you could buy one of the new, left over Saabs and a save a lot of money. With the current classic car market it doesn't make financial sense to restore genuine classic cars (like muscle cars) let alone semi-classics like Saabs.
