C900 Bulletin Board 1979-1993 & 94 Conv | |
Good thing it was recent as my CRS kicks in often. Took the 88 SPG for a spin a few days ago after ignoring it for 3 weeks. Starting stammering etc after a decent boost on interstate. Sometime seeming like ignition miss, then working OK then missing again. You know that rubber seal around the vacumn fitting on back (front) of intake manifold? Seems the rubbe part that is inside the manifold turned to goo and it kept being pulled in, then out again. I LUCKILY in about 2 minutes I found the seal still next to the mainfold BUT not in place. Replaced the seal around the plastic vacumn distributor and problem solved. Most of my issues have ALWAYS been vac issues.
