It isn't necessarily harder than anything else, but like all things on the saab, it between the firewall and engine, so you have to take everything around it off to work on it. I think I remember unbolting the air conditioner compressor (not the hoses!) and everything was accessable after that. My tip,, don't overtighten the belts when you put it all back together.
