C900 Bulletin Board 1979-1993 & 94 Conv | |
I'm spiffing up my 85T for a poor relative who loves Saabs. One of the few remaining issues is 3 of the lock cylinders use different keys. I have a key that does the driver's door and ignition. The other key does the trunk. No key does the pass door. Found a donor car with a factory key and 4 matching cylinders. While the cylinders were rattling around in my tool bag one cylinder came apart. The nylon thing with the spring fell off the back and the guts came out the other end. By guts I mean the inner cylinder with the little brass things that may have a name but it escapes me. So my question is: can I transfer these guts into my currently working trunk lock so all 4 cylinders work with one key?
